The United States Department of Defense has released the 2025 Basic Allowance for Housing rates. BAH rates will increase an average of 5.4 percent when the new rates take effect on January 1, 2025.
Military families budgeting for January can now use the new BAH rates that were released. These rates will affect all active duty military families, as well as those using GI Bill benefits where they are receive BAH as part of their compensation.
*This does not include the projected base pay or BAS increases.
